Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: "If I order now, how long will it take for me to get the box?"
A: We have a typical wait time of one month, although sometimes we may have boxes made that are not spoken for yet in which case you would recieve one sooner rather than later. We only hand craft ten boxes per-month. Please check out Production Blog section for the most up-to-date information on boxes currently available!
Q: "I want the fully loaded box, but would like it for a cheaper price"
A: We really can't play "Lets make a deal" with our products. In order to be fair to previous and future buyers, we have to be commited to the prices we have listed as we believe they are more than fair for the quality of the item we offer.
Q: "What is the difference between your box and the box used in seasons 1-4?"
A: As far as design, our box is identical and you would be hard pressed to notice any differences between our box and the on-screen counterpart used in seasons 1-4. The major difference is the quality. Our box has superior construction and finish. We designed it with the collector in mind, so our boxes are made with the kind of love and attention as would a fine piece of furniture. It was that ideal that helped us get the wonderful opportunity of having our box featured on the show as of season 5.
Q: Why does the slide box only come with 46 blood slides and not 50?
A: Although the box has slots for 50 slides, our item comes with 46 slides to reference the number of slides in "Dexter's" box as seen in the season 2 episode where his box is retrieved by the police. Included as one of the 46 slides is the "Smiley" slide which is a reference to the first season episode where "Dexter's" brother leaves him a little surprise in his Trophy Box.
Q: Can you get me a box autographed by Michael C. Hall?
A: As much as we would LOVE to offer an option for a "signiture edition", we are unable to persue autographs from Mr. Hall in any way shape or form. Since this product is being sold in good faith, without an official license from Showtime, we would not want to overstep our bounds by persuing further blessings than we already have been given by those responsible for obtaining our boxes for use on the show.
Q: If I live Internationally, will Customs have an issue with this product?
A: On occasion, we have had various Customs locations withhold our item a little longer than we would like, but NEVER once have we had Customs deny the item. We have shipped this item all over the world to many countries and each box has always arrived safely to the buyer. It is the responsibility of the buyer to stay on top of your local Customs office and make sure your item is released from them in a timely manner.
